What are we looking for now?
An experienced DevOps/ Infrastructure Engineer and a talented professional looking to step up. We like people at the forefront of technology and developers familiar with different coding languages that can work collaboratively within a big team but are also focused and able to lead on their own. We love new ideas and ways of tackling problems. Our product and stack are a continual work in progress. Fresh perspectives, tools, and programs are always welcome. Our Platform is built on AWS, managed by Terraform, with Kubernetes for microservices, Cassandra, Elasticsearch OS, Druid for data storage, Kafka, Hazelcast and Prometheus, Grafana, ELK for monitoring and logs, everything running on Linux. Devops team also manages the networking components, like subnets, security groups, load balancers. The CI pipeline is built using Github actions and the CD part uses ArgoCD.
What You'll do:
- Build and operate the infrastructure upon which all of our services stand.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering teams to help them build, deploy, and run high-quality reliable and performant software.
- Participate in the identification and evaluation of new technologies and platform service.
- Be a part of our on-call rotation for urgent production incidents.
- Continuously expand your knowledge and contribute to our collective learning.
What You'll bring:
- Good experience and knowledge of Linux (Centos, Ubuntu).
- Experience and knowledge on: Kubernetes, AWS, IaC (Terraform or Pulumi), Load Balancing and networking on advanced level.
- Experience and knowledge on: Cassandra, Elasticsearch or Opensearch, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, git, Docker containers. Not all are mandatory, but they score high.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD (Jenkins, Gitlab CI or preferably Github Actions.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, high-available and distributed systems, monitoring and alerting, security best practices.
- Scripting and coding preferably in bash & Python, but we are also open to your own suggestions.
- Be a team player, well organised and willing to help.
- Proficiency in professional-level English communication, both written and verbal.

- You’ve read Accelerate, Site Reliability Engineering and/or The DevOps Handbook.
