Valsea Technologies is looking for a Technical Engineer Manager

What you'll do:

Technical Oversight: Act as a first point of contact for the product team in order to provide advice on architectural and design challenges, and ensure technical alignment with the organisation’s goals.

Product Ownership: Participate in defining and delivering the product roadmap in collaboration with product managers and stakeholders, balancing technical feasibility with user needs.

Team Growth: Create a supportive, high-performing environment by mentoring team members, fostering professional development, and establishing clear roles and responsibilities. Perform periodical 1:1 with team members to set expectations and keep team members accountable, as well as conduct performance reviews. When needed, the Technical Engineering Manager will hire and onboard the new engineers for the team.

Alignment and Communication: Act as a key point of communication between the team, leadership, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.

Continuous Improvement: Analyze the current workflow and identify possible opportunities for growth.

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of experience managing and growing engineering teams.

Previous experience as a software engineer, extra points if you have dealt with distributed systems.

Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to empower teams while maintaining strategic focus.

Proficient in English language, both written and spoken.

Exposure to agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and associated tools (JIRA).

It’s a hybrid position, so experience with distributed teams is also a must.

iGaming background is more than welcome.
