QA Automation Engineer
What are we looking for now?
A QA Automation Engineer to improve and expand our frontend and API test automation. You will review our existing automation, identify improvements and help us build a reliable and scalable testing solution. You will work closely with another QA Automation Engineer in a multi-environment and highly regulated product.
What You’ll do:
Design effective test cases based on requirements, risks and business rules.
Develop and maintain frontend automation using Playwright and Java.[1] [2]
Automate GraphQL API testing using Postman and JavaScript.
Review and improve the existing automation framework, rebuilding parts when necessary.
Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD.
Review pull requests and support other QA team members.
Analyse failed and flaky tests and improve execution reliability.
Manage test cases and executions using Jira and Zephyr or similar tools.
Report defects clearly with the required technical evidence.
Create and analyse test reports using Allure.
Perform manual and exploratory testing when required.
Test payment integrations across multiple environments and configurations.
What You’ll bring:
Advanced written and spoken English.
4+ years of professional experience in test automation.
Strong ability to design test cases, including positive, negative, boundary and risk-based scenarios.
Strong experience with Playwright, Java, Postman and JavaScript.
Strong experience testing and automating GraphQL APIs.
Ability to review, improve or build an automation framework.
Experience with Git, pull requests and CI/CD.
Experience with Jira and test management tools such as Zephyr.
Experience testing payment solutions or working in highly regulated sectors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have:
Experience with Kafka.
ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
Experience with Allure.
Previous experience in iGaming, fintech or banking.
